The Recipe for Success: Role Summary

Join the vibrant world of Le Creuset as a Store Manager, where cookware meets colour, and customers come for inspiration! In this leadership role, you’ll be the driving force behind a welcoming and high-performing store. You’ll lead by example, coach your team to deliver exceptional customer experiences, and ensure the store runs smoothly - from visual merchandising to operational excellence.

Ingredients: Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of daily store operations, ensuring efficient performance, adequate staffing, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Respond to customer requests and complaints as needed.

  • Maintain regular communication with the Retail Manager and HR department regarding staffing matters, and inform them of any team changes.

  • Report on store sales, costs (especially labor hours), and overall business performance in line with company requirements.

  • Ensure pricing policies, store displays, and product marketing align with brand standards and corporate guidelines.

  • Oversee cash handling and payment systems in accordance with company procedures, prioritizing the safety of both staff and customers.

  • Provide effective, comprehensive, and regularly updated training for all employees on products, procedures, policies and company rules.

  • Conduct inventory checks as scheduled and ensure accurate completion in compliance with company standards.

  • Implement all local and corporate safety practices to maintain a secure store environment.

The Perfect Blend:
What We’re Looking For

  • Demonstrate flexibility by working on weekdays, Saturdays, and occasional Sunday openings (shopping Sundays).

  • Apply retail sales experience and uphold high standards of customer service.

  • Represent a premium brand with previous experience in a quality-focused retail environment.

  • Lead a team confidently, backed by at least 2 years of experience in retail team management.

  • Utilize strong skills in sales, customer service, and compliance with brand standards.

  • Operate effectively with intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.

  • Communicate fluently in Dutch and English; French is considered a strong asset.

  • Lead the team by setting clear expectations, providing guidance, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.

  • Communicate effectively across all levels, ensuring clarity, consistency, and professionalism in both verbal and written interactions.

  • Demonstrate assertiveness by making confident decisions, addressing challenges directly, and standing firm when needed.

  • Take initiative by proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and acting without waiting for direction.
